Hi! I’m Lori. It’s nice to meet you.

I got my first camera for Christmas when I was nine years old, and I’ve been taking photos ever since. However, it wasn’t until I became a mother that I realized how important photos were to me. In my late thirties, I started working on our family tree and sorting through years of photographs. It was then I realized photos weren’t just important… they were priceless. I found this one, taken in 1934:

See the little girl in the bottom right corner wearing a white dress? That’s my grandmother, Nelwyn. She’s with her parents, siblings, grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. What could be more treasured than a photo like this of your family?

In today’s world, we all have a cell phone, which means a camera is with us at all times. We can snap images of anything and everything whenever we want. I’ll admit there is some value to that convenience. But those quick snapshots aren’t anywhere near the same quality as a high resolution, thoughtfully organized, and carefully chosen image that serves as a lasting photographic keepsake for you and your loved ones.

My heart is to provide you with photos that will be treasured more as the years go on. Like this one, of my extended family almost a century ago.
